As you know from my previous post "Goal Setting for New Year" that written goals are the real goals otherwise you have only wishes. Now you should make your goals visible, so that you can see them on a daily basis. If you cannot see your goals then how will you achieve them? You should write your goals on your Laptop or on cards or in a place where you can see these goals on a daily basis. If you can see your goals on a daily basis then you can achieve them. You cannot shoot the arrow with closed eyes. Here I would like to share an ancient story with you.
Once in the Mahabharata, Guru Dronacharya took the test of his disciples.
He called all his disciples and showed them a target. The target was a 'fake fish-eye' that was hanging on the tree. They all had to shoot the target. Guru Dronacharya called his dispels one by one and asked a question that what they were seeing, some said they were seeing fish and some said they were seeing fish and tree. But only Arjuna answered that he was seeing only eye of the fish and nothing else. And only Arjuna was able to hit the target. That is the power of focus and visible targets.
The second biggest advantage of visible goals is that you can adjust the goals according to changing environment. Make your goals attractive and beautiful so that you cannot be bored by seeing them daily. If you want to make beautiful goals try to write your goals in white fonts and with blue background.
Hence your goals must be --
(1) Written goals
(2) Visible on a daily basis (Attractive and beautiful)
If you follow the above step then you will certainly be able to achieve your targets.
Quote-- " I cannot assure you that you will be able to achieve your targets if you write them but I can assure you that you will not achieve your targets if you don`t write them." Lalit Bhojwani
In my next post, I will talk about further steps of goal setting process till then complete above both the steps. Happy Blogging
